Kayla found her interest in education when her oldest daughter was born and has perused that pathway ever since. She received her Associate’s degree in Elementary Education in 2016 from Central Arizona College, Bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education from Grand Canyon University in 2019, and her Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Grand Canyon University in 2022. With experience in early childhood education as well as general education, Kayla’s passion for teaching and leading came when she began working with students on the spectrum. Kayla has worked with students in a private day setting for over 8 years in many different positions including a behavior coach, special education teacher, and program leader.
