Robert Schumacher
Mr. Schumacher comes to Victory Autism Academy in his seventh year in education. Mr. Schumacher started his teaching career with GIlbert Public Schools as a K-6 resource teacher. He then transitioned from resource to a Self-Contained Autism teacher. This is where Mr. Schumacher found his passion for supporting students and families with Autism.
Shortly after, Mr. Schumacher made the jump from the classroom to administration where he was the Assistant Principal of the Cross-Categorical Behavioral (CCB) program within the Washington Elementary School District. This program served students with all types of disabilities whose behavior significantly impeded their learning. All of Mr. Schumacher’s career has been spent within Title I schools. Mr. Schumacher has always had a passion for serving underrepresented communities, and his goal in life is to empower the underpowered.
When Mr. Schumacher is not at work, you can find him exploring the beautiful state of Arizona with his wife (Samantha) and dog (Winnie).
